No dental work 3 weeks prior for facial areas. Avoid topical retinols, topical exfoliants, Accutane, anti-inflammatory agents and blood thinners (if possible) or other facial treatments for a few days before the treatment. Avoid sun-tanning/self-tanner 4 weeks before treatment. If history of cold sores/herpes may need anti-viral medication RX.
